Digital Report: Illustrating COVID investment

Reimagining the typical annual report, I concepted, curated content, oversaw design & dissemination of a digital snapshot of United Way's 2020 COVID work, to give partners a clearer view of the impact of $1 billion raised to address communities' COVID needs.

Video: Storytelling to show impact

I commissioned this video to show how important early childhood education can be to a child's life, and that of her mother. I developed the concept, working with an award-winning videographer. It was part of an effort I led to equip 40 United Ways in 6 states to engage business leaders as early childhood champions in the public policy arena. White paper: Making the case for change

I wrote this white paper for 1,800 local United Ways, to make the case for changing the way we do business. It was part of a larger transformation effort, pushing/pulling United Ways to evolve from fundraisers to drivers of change. United Way leaders loved it; many shared it with their boards and even adapted it for local use.

Press Release: Touting a PSA

A new PSA isn't exactly breaking news, but it can be a message to stakeholders. I crafted this to put United Way's partners front & center, as they are in the PSA. I also developed the communications launch plan, a strategy to leverage partnerships, key messaging and related content creation for owned channels.

Blog: Celebrating a valued partner

John Deere needed communications support for its first overseas employee engagement. I offered an internal communications plan with ideas for promoting to plant employees, wrote this blog and orchestrated paid Facebook ads that targeted John Deere employees and the German towns where the plants were based.
